Aaron Woods Band was formed when frontman/lead singer
Aaron Woods moved to Stillwater, Oklahoma in early 2010
from his home state of Kansas. "Once I decided that
music was what I wanted in life, I decided to relocate
to a more conducive area." Stillwater, Oklahoma has
been dubbed several nicknames including, "North
Austin" and "West Nashville" due it's
popular thriving music scene. It's also known as the
epicenter for the growing "Red-Dirt" music
genre which is believed to be pioneered by local legends
such as, Bob Childress, J.J. Cale, The Red Dirt Rangers,
Tom Skinner, & many others.
The band is currently writing for their second
album to be titled "Amber Fields & Lucid
Dreams" due out in late 2015.
